The unique technology of Tigr® Matrix involves two-phase degradation followed by complete resorption. The rapidly absorbable fibre is a copolymer made from glycolide, lactide and trimethylene carbonate, while the slowly absorbable fibre is a copolymer made from lactide and trimethylene carbonate.

The Tigr® Matrix degrades over time and will be replaced by endogenous tissue. As the transmission of force increases during the remodelling phase, this tissue will finally evolve into functional tissue.
