7-day purification process for low residual BDDE levels

The difference lies in the three-step manufacturing process. Revanesse® uses high-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid, which requires less BDDE for stabilization. This allows the process to combine a low level of chemical cross-linker with a stable gel structure.

A proprietary wet-milling process creates smooth, round and uniform particles. These support consistent flow, controlled placement and adaptability of the gel within the tissue. For practitioners, this means greater control during injection and predictable product delivery.

The gel then undergoes a seven-day dialysis process. This removes residual BDDE and other unwanted substances while balancing pH and osmolality. The result is a carefully purified and balanced formulation, with each manufacturing step focused on quality and controlled product performance.
